A floating seal consists of two metal seal rings and two elastomer O-rings paired together, featuring a compact structure and easy installation.
  • Metal Seal Ring: Forged or cast from high chromium-molybdenum alloy cast iron (15% chromium, 1-3% molybdenum) or high-carbon steel (100Cr6/Gcr15), with a hardness of HRC 58-72. The sealing surface is precision-lapped with a roughness of Ra≤0.2μm and flatness ≤0.0015mm, offering excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and impact resistance.

  • Elastomer O-Ring: Available in NBR, HNBR, FKM (Viton), VMQ materials, adapting to different temperatures and media. It provides elastic preload and enables radial and axial floating compensation.
