Motor starter types is divided into a DC starter, a gasoline starter, a compressed air starter, etc. according to the working principle. Most of the internal combustion engines use a DC starter, which is characterized by compact structure, simple operation and easy maintenance. The gasoline starter is a small gasoline engine with a clutch and a shifting mechanism. It has a large power and is less affected by the temperature. The starter adopts a DC series motor, and the rotor and stator parts are wound by a relatively thick rectangular cross-section copper wire; the drive mechanism adopts a reduction gear structure; and the operating mechanism adopts electromagnetic magnetic attraction.

The P11C engine deceleration starter has the following distinctive features:

1 The power output structure is divided into two parts: an armature shaft and a transmission shaft. Both ends of the armature shaft are supported by ball bearings, the load distribution is uniform, the use time is long, the wear is not easy, the armature is short, the armature shaft is not easy to bend, and the field winding is worn out.

2 A reduction gear is used, and a reduction gear is mounted between the rotor and the start gear, and the torque transmitted by the starter motor to the start gear is increased. With the electromagnetic switch, the power output of the motor (after the reduction gear) is the start gear and the start gear shaft, and the mesher portion is not moved. The starter with low output power often adopts the external meshing mode, and the starter with large output power adopts the internal meshing mode.

3 Deceleration starter is operated by electromagnetic switch, and some are equipped with auxiliary switch (or sub-switch). Its role is to prevent burnout of the electromagnetic switch and the switch (start) switch. The grading of the power supply greatly reduces the possibility of damage to the starter, thus extending the life of the starter.

4 The speed reducer is about half the size and weight of the traditional starter, saving raw materials and making it easy to disassemble and repair.

5 The number of poles of the deceleration starter is the same as that of the conventional starter, but the field coil winding often adopts multiple series of small wires. The winding method of the armature winding is the same as the traditional principle, but the manufacturing process is advanced.
